With their newest album coming out in less than a month, One Direction's Niall Horan and Harry Styles sat down with Coup de Main to talk all about it.

One of the big differences between Made In The A.M. and any of their past albums is, of course, that this is their first album since Zayn Malik left the group.

When the two singers were asked what has changed since Zayn left, Harry said that nothing much has changed.

“I think it was obviously different, the process, because there was one less of us. But at the same time it didn’t change…in terms of the writing of the album…it didn’t change that much…I think the focus over the last five years has always been the same in that we want to make the best record that we can. I think that didn’t change in any way.”

Harry did also say that they noticed just minor differences when going into the studio. "Obviously the album sounds a little bit different because you’re missing a voice that was there before, but we’ve very much grown stronger, probably through the realization that we all have the same goal for a lot of things."

We can't say we didn't notice Zayn's vocals missing from the latest 1D single at first, but we really don't notice anymore. The group has definitely moved forward just fine without him.

Watch Harry address Zayn's leaving the group at about the 7:30 minute mark.

Do you miss Zayn or do you think 1D is better off without him? Let us know in the comments.
