Ever since it was announced that Isabela Moner would be playing the oh-so-iconic Dora the Explorer in an upcoming live-action movie – we couldn't wait to see her in the role. The Nickelodeon actress couldn't be more perfect to play such a legendary character from her home network – and we are so excited to see her representing the Latina community through such a powerful female role. Isabela is going to knock this one out of the park! The star took to Instagram to share the very first photo of herself in her full Dora lewk, and we are nothing short of obsessed. Ugh, how freaking cute is she?
"So excited to show you the First Look of me as #DoraTheExplorer," the 100 Things to Do Before High School actress shared alongside her post.
"The post that I made was not a joke. I repeat this is not a joke. There is a comedy action movie being made about D-D-D-D-Dora," she followed up on her Insta stories, putting the little theme song style twist on it.
This isn't her first Dora role, as a matter of fact. She also voiced the character of Kate in a number of episodes of Dora and Friends: Into the City! Pretty cool, huh?
Isabela also took to her Insta stories to share something that's been on her mind regarding how people see Latina women.
"I hate nothing more than when people say that I look like every other Latina – Selena Gomez, Becky G, Vanessa Hudgens, Camila Mendes. Like you really need to get to know more Latinas because just like any other race, like we don't all look alike," the actress said.
You go, girl!
