Incase you hadn’t heard, Jack Griffo has found himself a new gig. The actor who just said goodbye to his hit Nickelodeon series, The Thundermans will now be joining his girlfriend Paris Berelc on her new Netflix show.
Yes, Jack will now be a part of Alexa & Katie according to Deadline who first broke the news. So who will he be playing? Most importantly, will the two be playing each other’s love interests, therefore making them a couple on and off the screen?

Yup! There will be some serious flirting between the real life couple on the show. The actor will be playing a character named, Dylan who will be a friend of Emery Kelly’s character Lucas.
The complete description of Jack’s character according to the source reads, “Dylan sees Alexa’s strengths as well as her insecurities. To Alexa, Dylan is her brother’s annoying friend, but when he becomes her math tutor, Dylan’s teasing makes Alexa see him in a new way. While Alexa worries that Dylan’s flirtation might come from pity, underneath she is developing a crush on him that she’s not ready to admit.”

Jack also shared a little preview with fans on what’s to come. Taking to Instagram, he uploaded a video featuring the Forever in Your Mind member, captioned "thrilled to join this group. #AlexaAndKatie will be on @netflix this spring ! Paris has yet to say anything publicly about the news, but we bet she’s thrilled to be working alongside her friends and boyfriend; and also extremely proud of him for landing the role.
Alexa & Katie won’t be released until 2018, so fans will have to wait a little bit to see Jack, Paris, and Emery in action. Until then, we sure hope they’ll keep sharing some behind the scenes snaps on social media.
