All the former members of the band Dream Street just reunited to honor Chris Trousdale, after he tragically passed away at only 34 years old. Yep, Matt Ballinger, Frankie Galasso, Jesse McCartney and Greg Raposo all came together to perform for the first time in years as a tribute to the late singer, and boy, was it emotional.

For those who missed it, on June 3, 2020, it was announced via Chris’ Instagram that he had sadly passed away.

“It is with a heavy heart that we confirm the passing of Chris Trousdale on June, 2, 2020 from an undisclosed illness. He was a light to so many and will be missed dearly by his family, friends and fans all over the world,” a statement read. “Although it felt like he belonged to us all, the family is requesting that you respect their privacy at this time of grieving. Should you wish to make a donation in his honor, please give to ASPCA.”

According to TMZ, the singer died from coronavirus.

“‘It Happens Every Time.’ In loving memory of our friend Chris Trousdale,” Jesse captioned a video of them having the virtual concert.

As fans know, the band was first formed in 1999, and went on to drop some pretty epic songs over the years, including “It Happens Every Time,” “I Say Yeah,” Sugar Rush,” “With All My Heart” and more. They went their separate ways in 2002.

Greg also shared a clip from the Zoom performance.

“Even in death your show was sold out. Thank you everyone for coming together to celebrate his life. He’d be proud. So much LOVE here for you @christrousdaleofficial,” he wrote.

More than 8,000,000 people have contracted coronavirus so far, resulting in more than 430,000 deaths. Medical professionals have called for “social distancing” to prevent further spreading of the illness, which is defined as “trying to keep yourself away from other people, especially large crowds.” Because of this many events, concerts, award shows, conventions and festivals have been canceled, including all Broadway plays and sports games. People are urged to stay indoors, avoid public places and isolate themselves during this time.
