The world was pretty shook after the news hit the web back in February that Khloé Kardashian‘s boyfriend and baby daddy, Tristan Thompson, got caught cheating on the reality star with her younger sister’s BFF. That’s right, Jordyn Woods, who was besties with Kylie Jenner for years, was caught kissing the basketball player at a party.
But where do the ladies stand now? Are they friends again? What has Jordyn been up to since the drama? Well guys, on Sunday, April 21, 2019, the Instagram star spoke out for the first time since her tell-all interview, and she couldn’t help but bring up the incident.
“My little sister was bullied in school, and I wanted to show her that I was bullied by the world,” Jordyn said during a panel at the Homecoming Festival in Nigeria. “I understood for the first time what it’s like being a black woman in a just society — how we can be so disrespected, and nobody can really understand to that extent until you have lived it.”
And while arriving at LAX the day before, she sent her former best friend an important message.
“The whole world’s support is amazing, I have love for everyone, always,” the makeup mogul told photographers. And when they specifically asked her about her love for Kylie, she reiterated, “Always.”
In case you forgot, in the days that followed the cheating scandal, a lot went down. Khloé took to her Instagram and Twitter to share her disgust with both Jordyn and Tristan. Her friends and family shaded them left and right. And Kylie reportedly kicked her BFF out of the house they shared. Yeah, it was pretty intense.
And on March 1, 2019, Jordyn finally addressed the allegations. She sat down with Jada Pinkett Smith for a tell-all interview, where she confirmed that she and Tristan had kissed.
“On the way out, he did kiss me,” she said. “No passion, no nothing on the way out. He just kissed me. It was a kiss on the lips. But no tongue kiss. No making out. Nothing.”
She also claimed that she had apologized to the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star privately, but Khloé said otherwise.
“Why are you lying @jordynwoods?? If you’re going to try and save yourself by going public, INSTEAD OF CALLING ME PRIVATELY TO APOLOGIZE FIRST, at least be HONEST about your story,” she tweeted soon after the interview aired. “BTW, you ARE the reason my family broke up!”
