Here comes the bride (er, Biebs)! We are currently living in an era where Justin Bieber is 100% a taken man, but he’s not married quite yet. Reports said today that he and Hailey Baldwin had secretly tied the knot. But Hailey quickly took to Twitter to say it’s not true.

People reported the 24-year-old singer and his 21-year-old model bae got married on Thursday in New York City. They were seen in a courthouse, where marriage licenses are issued – and so, everyone thought just had a quick and lowkey ceremony. But nope, just a misunderstanding.
Ever since the couple got engaged in July, Hailey had been rocking a gorgeous rock on her finger. But then, it randomly switched to a golden band for a short time toward the end of July. However, she then switched back to the engagement ring. People had thought they tied the knot back then too, but it was a false alarm.

Now let’s take a look into how this couple came to be. See back in 2016 when the Biebs was interviewed by GQ, he described the stunning supermodel as “someone I really love. We spend a lot of time together.” He then went on to explain that while they at that time weren’t an official couple, he kind of always knew it would be her who he ends up with.
“What if Hailey ends up being the girl I’m gonna marry, right? If I rush into anything, if I damage her, then it’s always gonna be damaged. It’s really hard to fix wounds like that. It’s so hard.… I just don’t want to hurt her,” he said.
So while they weren’t necessarily together then, he knew one day they would find their way back to each other when the timing was right. Hailey was ready to become Mrs. Bieber as soon as the couple got engaged. She took to her Instagram stories to show off a T-shirt a friend gifted her – which read, “Future Mrs, Bieber.” Iconic.
