He shared a hilarious throwback video of himself on set, in character as Robbie, and was always proud to have played this role. LazyTown was a series from Iceland that aired on Nickelodeon from 2004 until 2007. More episodes of the show were filmed and aired from 2013 through 2014. In total, 104 episodes of the show were created – and for those who grew up watching, you know how memorable Stefan’s character was.
Robbie was the villain of the colorful town, often scheming to stop Stephanie — the 8-year-old protagonist who had that fab pink hair — and her bud Sportacus from changing the vibe of the town since you know, everyone is lazy and they’re all about that active life. The show was over the top and all types of amazing and Stefan’s portrayal of Robbie was unmatched.
He will be missed and we’re sending all the love to his family during this difficult time.
