Liam Payne has finally explained why he's scared of spoons! The One Direction singer has long been open about his utensil phobia, but he just told Capital FM the real story behind his fear.
“See I’m not so much scared of spoons, I’ll hold one, but I don’t like eating with them, if they’re not my spoons, if that makes sense," he said.

“It is a bit weird. When I was a kid I was a bit naughty at school and when you were naughty they made you do the washing up. I had to wash all these nasty spoons and then it’s just stuck with me after. I don’t know what people are doing with their spoons, I don’t want to know!”
Well, it's good that he cleared it up! We totally understand that he was a bit traumatized by his school days. And it's not like he's scared of all spoons — at least he doesn't mind using his own!
