Logan Paul is still groveling in the big mistake he made while in Japan at the beginning of 2018 when he and his gang decided to explore Japan's "suicide forest" and post footage of a dead body on YouTube. Ever since then, the video streaming platform has cut partial ties with the vlogger and he's gotten some major celebrity and fan backlash. Not only that but he took a break from social media for a few weeks after the whole thing went down. TMZ caught up with the Logang patriarch where he admitted that he's still learning from his mistakes.

When asked about whether or not he officially moving away from his past – obviously referencing the Japan incident – he said, "Sort of. It’s important to learn from your mistakes, which I did and I’m going to continue to do. Keep my head up. Keep moving forward and then teach people what I’ve learned and spread the message as best I can." It seems like he might actually keep that promise this time. Logan's first video back on YouTube was extremely different than anything he has ever posted before. It was actually incredibly well done using sources, real people and experts, to talk about the importance of suicide prevention in the world today. For that, he must be applauded for finally using his voice for something that is prevalent and urgent in society.

But, even though he might be learning from his mistakes doesn't mean he isn't going to laugh about them either. Logan actually shaded himself on Twitter over something he wrote on the platform while he was in Japan. There's a very thin line here, though. It's one that we're not sure if he's being respectful of, really reflecting back and looking at his mistakes thinking, 'What the hell was I thinking?' Or is this just another way to make a joke about a bad situation that should never be joked about again?

Logan shared this message on Twitter just after the New Year in Japan and said, "it’s 2018 in Japan

for everyone in 2017

2018 is looking much brighter ?."

Obviously, because the time change is so drastic, he had already felt the 2018 bliss before anyone else had in his home country. We're not totally sure why Logan was looking back at his old tweets, but he decided to completely shade himself and at the same time make a joke about what he had so foolishly and immaturely put on Twitter. He replied to himself and said, "damn bruh you were way off." Yeah, way, way off.

Honestly, it is really hard to tell what he's doing here. But, judging by his new vlog about suicide prevention and is words to TMZ, we may have to go with the fact that he was actually looking back and shaking his head in disappointment at himself. There's just no way – at least we hope – that he would make a joke about something that he almost lost his entire career over. That would just be dumb. And as awful and triggering as it was to see the footage of a dead body on his supposedly lighthearted channel, we really hope he wouldn't be stupid enough to laugh about it AGAIN.
