Get ready for the movie of the century, you guys. Yeah, we’re talking abut Drama Drama — an upcoming musical dramedy which stars Ana Golja, Zonta, Michelle DeFraites, Carlye Tamaren and Amelia DeMilo.

So what’s it about, you ask? Well, when the five ladies are forced to work together by their school’s principal in an attempt to solve a bullying problem that has reached epidemic proportions, they form a girl group called (you guessed it!) Drama Drama. And despite their major differences, the girls soon discover that they’re much stronger together than they are apart.

OK, how epic does that sound? We need to see this, like, now. And want to know the best part? We just got a chance to chat with the stars of the new flick exclusively! Ana Golja plays London.

J-14: Can you tell us a little about your character?

Ana Golja: I play the role of London Cullen. She is the preppy, “Queen Bee” of the school, who is also the captain of the cheerleading squad. Within Drama Drama, she is the choreographer as well as a key member of the group.

J-14: What’s your favorite Drama Drama song, and why?

Anna: I would say my favorite Drama Drama song is “Crazy For the Boys.” It is such a catchy song. We were all singing it on (and off!) set nonstop.

J-14: Why is the anti-bullying message of the movie important to you?

Anna: The anti bullying message of the movie is very important to me because it is such a relevant issue with today’s youth. I feel that as film makers and artists, we hold a responsibility to make a positive impact on people and I really saw an opportunity to do that with this film.

J-14: What’s your all time favorite movie musical?

Anna: I have way too many movie musicals on my list! If I had to choose… it would be a tie between Mamma Mia and The Sound of Music.

J-14: What’s the best part about being in a girl group?

Anna: The best part about being in a girl group is being surrounded by such talented, inspiring, smart, kind, beautiful, supportive girls. We truly have become like sisters.

Zonta plays Mo.

J-14: Can you tell us a little about your character?

Zonta: Mo is someone that can’t live without music and will be a super star one day. She writes music and fights for what she wants when she truly believes in something or someone.

J-14: What’s your favorite Drama Drama song, and why?

Zonta: “Drama Drama” is my favorite song because you can feel the connection between the girls.

J-14: Why is the anti-bullying message of the movie important to you?

Zonta: Well for me and Mo (my character) it’s about feeling safe to be your true self. That’s what Drama Drama is about to me.

J-14: What’s your all time favorite movie musical?

Zonta: Drama Drama.

J-14: What’s the best part about being in a girl group?

Zonta: The best part of those experiences are the memories you share with one another.

Michelle DeFraites plays Sydney.

J-14: Can you tell us a little about your character?

Michelle DeFraites: Sydney is the rebellious one of the group. She was super reluctant to even be a part of it and London drives her a little nuts, but she warms up to it by the end of the film.

J-14: What’s your favorite Drama Drama song, and why?

Michelle: “Supernatural!” It’s a fun song and it’s one of the first songs in the movie where we really find our groove. It’s fun to watch and perform that one!

J-14: Why is the anti-bullying message of the movie important to you?

Michelle: I see so much bullying in this world and it can have horrible outcomes. For me this movie is, yes about anti-bullying, but more so about the fact that it’s OK to be different and people may not accept you and make fun of you, but find the people that do love you and you are unstoppable!

J-14: What’s your all time favorite movie musical?

Michelle: Grease! I’ve been obsessed since I was super-young!

J-14: What’s the best part about being in a girl group?

Michelle: Having a built in group of best friends! And the fact that they are all so talented — it makes me wanna be a better person in all aspects of my life!

Carlye Tamaren plays Veronica.

J-14: Can you tell us a little about your character?

Carlye Tamaren: Veronica is the resident tomboy, bad girl of the group. She’s got an attitude coming at you from a mile away. But underneath that hard exterior is just a daddy’s girl who loves to sing and dance and just wants everyone to get along. She stands up for what she believes in and doesn’t back down because of the status quo.

J-14: What’s your favorite Drama Drama song, and why?

Carlye: My favorite Drama Drama song is definitely “Supernatural,” which we perform at the homecoming dance. It’s super catchy and fun and I love the old school pop vibes it has going on.

J-14: Why is the anti-bullying message of the movie important to you?

Carlye: Anti-bullying is a cause that I am extremely passionate about. I think it is up to us as leaders to set an example for the younger generations that you don’t have to be nasty to each other. So much more will get done if we are kind. I think everyone has been bullied in their life and maybe even accidentally bullied someone else. But it’s up to us to be mindful of how our actions and words impact other people. We have to pay attention. Everyone is sensitive. I grew up in the arts and I can’t tell you how many kids were made to feel weird for not being mainstream. But what even is mainstream? Sounds boring to me. We need to let our freak flags fly! And that’s exactly what Drama Drama is about — making anyone and everyone feel invited and loved for who they are.

J-14: What’s your all time favorite movie musical?

Carlye: My all time favorite is definitely West Side Story, but Grease comes in a close second. I am obsessed with movie musicals.

J-14: What’s the best part about being in a girl group?

Carlye: The best part about being in a girl group is the best friends I’ve made. It’s so rare for five completely different girls to be randomly put together and fall in love. And I can truly say that I love each one of these girls with all my heart. How does that even happen?! Each one is sweeter than the next and we really hold each other up and stand together.

Amelia DeMilo plays Stella.

J-14: Can you tell us a little about your character?

Amelia DeMilo: Stella is super chill and has a big heart. She’s an activist for equality and positive change in the world. She often feels overlooked and like the underdog, but that doesn’t stop her from maintaining her positive love for everyone.

J-14: What’s your favorite Drama Drama song, and why?

Amelia: I love “Supernatural!” It’s super catchy, upbeat and sweet. It would always be in my head after rehearsals.

J-14: Why is the anti-bullying message of the movie important to you?

Amelia: Kindness and empathy are the greatest strengths to use in this world. It’s important we nurture these qualities more in society, especially when it comes to kids and teens. Everyone is struggling in one way or the other, we have to look at one another with care and empathy and stop bullying.

J-14: What’s your all time favorite movie musical?

Amelia: That’s a hard question. I love movie musicals! I recently saw The Greatest Showman, and I loved it. The music is beautiful. I always have it on repeat.

J-14: What’s the best part about being in a girl group?

Amelia: Making friendships and owning your girl power as a united front!
