One Direction's Twitter account recently tweeted out a #ThrowbackThursday guessing game, asking Directioners to identify the 1D music video, but that simple, fuzzy image is causing a lot of controversy. They totally cropped Zayn Malik out of the blurred image — and fans are not happy about it!

Besides the fact that it's pretty easy to identify (maybe we're just 1D experts, but the answer is obviously "Steal My Girl"), they flat-out cropped the member that left the group.

In case you were wondering, this is what the scene is supposed to look like.
But still, Directioners are furious that he's not included in the image.
@onedirection It's not steal my girl cuz I'm pretty sure that Zayn was still there!!!!!! 😤😤 What the….

Even though he's no longer in the band, he was in the music video.
Some were just in disbelief.
@onedirection did Yall really crop Zain out? 😒

Because it seemed totally unnecessary.

And then they hit us right in the feels.
@onedirection you can crop Zayn out of a picture but you can't crop him out of our memories and more than 4 years of being in the band…

While we understand that the band's social media person probably just wanted to reflect the current state of the band, the Bradford Bad Boy was still in the group when the music video came out. It's not fooling anyone!
