Are wedding bells ringing in the near future for Perrie Edwards? Her boyfriend, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, just dropped a major hint that he’s going to propose to her soon, and OMG we are so excited for them!
The Sun caught up with the couple at an afterparty for the 2019 BRIT Awards on Wednesday, February 20, and they couldn’t have been cuter. And get this — when the outlet asked if he was going to “put a ring on it” soon, the star smiled as he nodded his head and gave a cheeky wink.

As J-14 readers know, the Little Mix singer was heartbroken after her nasty split from fiancé Zayn Malik in August of 2015, so we were all super happy for her when she was able to find love again. Although she and the soccer player didn’t go Instagram official until 2017, it was reported that their relationship started in 2016 when he was spotted supporting the 25-year-old during her performance on The X Factor. That means they’ve been happily in love for more than two years, so it seems like a perfect time to take the next step.
The “Black Magic” singer and the Liverpool FC player are honestly total relationship goals, and we can’t wait to see them walk down the aisle. They’re constantly gushing over each other and sharing adorable, PDA-filled pics on Instagram, and we can’t get enough of them! Like the time Perrie referred to her man as her “squishy,” for example.
“I shall call him SQUISHY and he shall be MINE and he shall be MY squishy!” she captioned an adorable snap of them kissing in December of 2017.
Ugh, so freaking cute! Or what about the time they celebrated Christmas together?
“Merry Christmas everyone! I hope Santa was generous! I got exactly what I wanted… and I’m staring at it,” the singer gushed about her 25-year-old beau.
Perrie even talked about marrying him back in November of 2018. “I hear a violinist and I’m like, ‘That’s going in my wedding!’” she dished to Metro. “I love strings, the whole idea of marriage… the day and the dress. I’m a hopeless romantic but, at the same time, I’m career-driven first.”
