In The Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina, Harvey Kinkle is in the midst of a major love triangle between his ex-girlfriend Sabrina Spellman and the new man in her life, Nicholas Scratch. But as it turns out, actor Ross Lynch knows all about love triangles IRL too.
Yep! The 23-year-old just revealed that to Cosmopolitan he was actually involved in a love triangle before. And get this, you guys — the former Disney star told the outlet that it happened while on set of Teen Beach Movie. OMG.
When Cosmo asked Ross, 23, if he’d ever experienced the drama of a love triangle in his own personal life, he replied, “Oh, of course. I mean, a few times. Yeah. Teen Beach Movie was a love triangle.”
But unfortunately, he wouldn’t reveal much.
“That’s all I’m gonna say,” he continued. “I was 16 at the time of the first movie, but it was basically a bunch of high school students or college students. And they just put us on an island in the Caribbean for two months. Imagine, you know, Puerto Rico. It’s the beach. It’s beautiful weather and it rains occasionally. Because it’s a tropical island. And we’ll all get dressed up and go to little salsa clubs dancing into the night. It was so fun.”
OK, we seriously NEED to know who else was involved in this love triangle and what the heck went down. Was it Maia Mitchell? Gracie Gillam? Mollee Gray? Jessica Lee Keller? Ugh, Ross, you cannot leave us hanging like that!
After the Disney Channel Original Movie premiered in 2013, we all couldn’t help but ship Ross and Maia together. We mean, in the flick, their characters were pretty much couple goals, so it’s only natural that fans would want the stars to continue their epic love story off the screen. But they’ve made it pretty clear over the years that they’re nothing more than best friends… or so we thought.
We hope Ross gives us some answers soon!
