Don’t scream, you guys, but it seems like there’s a chance Scream Queens will return in some way, shape or form.

You heard that correctly, folks! Ryan Murphy, the genius behind series such as American Horror StoryGlee, and yes, Scream Queens, dropped a major hint that he has plans in store for the show, despite airing what was said to be its final episode in December 2016. But was it really the show’s final episode? Maybe not!

Ryan took to his personal Instagram to tease that the show might make its return, but maybe not in the way you might think.

He wrote, “So many people recently have been asking me about rebooting or continuing SCREAM QUEENS (RIP, taken too soon). Emma, Billie, Lea and I have mused on it, but question: should it be a six episode limited? A catch up movie? Who should I bring back? Would love your thoughts. So many questions….”

We know what you’re thinking: Why can’t they just make another full season? And while we’re not really sure why that’s not being considered as an option, we’ll take anything we can get at this point.

For those of you who’ve never seen the series, it ran for two full seasons before FOX canceled it in 2017. In other words, you should probably catch up now seeing as some of the actresses from the series appear to be eager to bring it back. Wait, what?

That’s right! Emma Roberts and Ariana Grande, who was killed off the show during Season 1, both liked Ryan’s post, which could only mean that they, too, want the show to return. Plus, he did ask which characters he should bring back, so maybe the “7 Rings” crooner can return from the dead?

Clearly, the possibilities are endless, and we don’t know about you, but we’d love to watch this story continue to unfold. Bring back the Chanel’s and let’s get the show on the road, shall we?
