Sam Smith and his boyfriend Brandon Flynn were first spotted holding hands, kissing, and grabbing lunch together in the streets of New York City back in the beginning of October. Ever since then, they have slowly but surely unveiled more and more details of their private relationship with the public. Brandon hasn't been shy about posting adorable photos of the couple on Instagram, yet we hadn't quite seen the same behavior coming from Sam until now. It's not to say that Sam was trying to hide the romance, but he is obviously a public figure on a much larger scale than Brandon is. So, if he puts something on his social media then the world is most definitely going to freak the eff out even more.

Oddly enough, Sam actually went public with Brandon in real life at the 2018 Grammy Awards and we basically all missed it. Sam slyly walked the red carpet solo because, as you can imagine, these two posing together would have caused complete and utter chaos. But, photos have recently surfaced of the pair hanging out with several other big names during the actual show. They were seen standing next to each other and smiling alongside Camila Cabello, Lorde, Janelle Monae and Camila's sister, Sofia.

Adorable! The greatest part about all of this, though, is that Sam actually posted this photo of the group to his personal Instagram page with the caption, "❤️????." It marks the first time that Sam has not only publicly attended a major event with Brandon but also posted a photo with him. While it may not be just the two of them, this is a big step in and of itself. He has never really shined the spotlight on any of his past relationships, so it's not totally shocking that he and Brandon have tried to keep things on the down low. But, here, they look super happy that it's undeniable.

Sam previously spoke on the Bizarre Life podcast and said, "But I'm really happy for once. All I know is I'm happy and I'm trying to see how it goes. Right now what I'm experiencing is very early days. But it's nice to be with someone who kind of gets it. My job has got in the way of my relationships in the past because it's just hard to relate to. And people don't want to be apart of what I've got going on in my life." Aww! Now, we're just patiently waiting for the duo's red carpet debut cause you know they will WERK. IT.
