Selena Gomez stepped out on the red carpet decked out in orange for the premiere of her passion project, the Netflix series 13 Reasons Why. She looked absolutely stunning and couldn’t stop smiling. We’ve seen the “Good For You” singer smile a lot lately and many fans believe it has to do with the new love in her life – The Weeknd.
Shippers have seen the pair travel everywhere from Florence to Brazil and have packed on the PDA while they were at it. To be honest, Selena hasn’t shown this much PDA since her days with Justin Bieber and, even then, it was less than the world has seen recently. It really seems like Selena is in love and she may have just indirectly admitted it!

The songstress chatted with Entertainment Tonight at the 13 Reasons Why premiere about what’s really going on in her head right now and it’s all good. She said, “I’m very honest though in general, I feel like you could be able to see in my face. I love what I’m doing right now. I’m enjoying my life, and I’m getting to do things I’m passionate about with the people that I love.”
Okay, so this may be a bit of a stretch, BUT she is getting to do the things she loves with the people she loves – AKA The Weeknd. If we think about it, she’s able to travel. She’s able to show off her relationship in a way that she hadn’t done before. She’s able to go out into the world and see things and do things that she may have been prohibited from doing while in rehab treating her Lupus. It just so happens that all of this is done with The Weeknd by her side.
Of course, 13 Reasons Why was something that Selena had wanted to make happen for years now and she partnered with her mom, Mandy Teefey, for the whole thing. So, that could be something she’s talking about. But, we have a feeling The Weeknd was part of what she was thinking about when she made that statement.

In a previous interview, she said that she is finally having a personal life, which has been something that she hasn’t had in a while. All of this is just more evidence that she really does love The Weeknd and we’re freaking out over it, TBH.
It seems like this gal has made it her mission lately to do what she loves and this project, as well as her time spent with The Weeknd, shows that.
After the premiere, Selena posted this photo on Instagram with the caption, “Our show @13reasonswhy came out tonight and I couldn’t be more overwhelmed with pride and joy. After 7 years of holding onto this book, I couldn’t of picked a better time for this message to exist. Jay Asher wrote a beautifully tragic, compelling story and we were lucky to have brought it to life. Thank you to every single soul that put their heart into this passion project.”
What a time to be alive! Selena isn’t holding anything back and we’re holding onto hope that the next time she talks about the people she loves she will actually mention The Weeknd’s name. Hey, a fan can dream, right?
