The holiday season means reuniting with family, which is what Selena Gomez was up to when she was recently seen out and about in her hometown of Texas, minus her blonde hair. By now everyone knows that the singer is back to being a brunette, and is enjoying every bit of being with her loved ones, including her cousin Priscilla DeLeon.
Fans know that the two are insanely close, considering the “Wolves” singer is godmother to her cousin’s son Aiden and Priscilla’s maid of honor. The pop star helped throw an epic surprise proposal and engagement party for Priscilla and Jay Cosme, her cousin’s fiancé. Now Sel is taking her duties of helping make her cousin’s big day one that she’ll remember forever, by gifting her with her dream wedding dress!
On Instagram, Priscilla shared a very short clip of the two posing pictures as she held up a sign that reads, “I said yes to the dress.” The post was captioned, “When your maid of honor makes your dream dress a reality and surprises you with it!” Awww! Talk about having one amazing maid of honor. It just goes to show how much family means to the “Same Old Love” singer.
Yup, that definitely happened, and the singer totally had some fun with friends as they documented their shopping journey. What a squad!
When she wasn’t surprising her loved ones with amazing presents, Selena even found some time to the food at some her favorite local spots. The singer was spotted out and about at a restaurant picking up some takeout, where she even posed for some pictures with fans with her brunette locks. So yes, the blonde really is gone for good now.
For those hoping Justin Bieber was there alongside her, it looks like he wasn’t. Selena headed to Texas solo, despite the two recently spotted out on a romantic getaway to Seattle right before the holidays officially began. Jelena may be apart for now, but that doesn’t mean they won’t be together soon. For now, though, we’re guessing Sel is having a lot of fun spending time with those loved ones she doesn’t get to see on a regular basis.
