Move over, Jacob Sartorius, because it seems like Millie Bobby Brown has found herself a new man.
That’s right, you guys! The Stranger Things star is reportedly dating Romeo Beckham, and yes, Victoria Beckham totally approves.
A source told The Sun, “It’s early days but they make a very sweet couple. Posh has given it the seal of approval as she is a big fan of Millie’s.” So sweet!
So how did these two meet? We’re so glad you asked! According to the outlet, the 15-year-old actress presented an award with David Beckham at Unicef’s 70th anniversary gala back in 2016, and although it was several years ago, it seems she made an incredible first impression.
While presenting the award, the 15-year-old hugged it out onstage with the soccer star. Then, she posted a photo with the 43-year-old after the event, acknowledging that it was a night she will never forget.
Along with the photo, she wrote, “Thank you @davidbeckham and #audreyhepburn for inspiring me to use my voice and platform for good. Tonight was incredible. Thank you @unicef for having me as the host of your youth takeover. I will remember this evening for the rest of my life. Love and light.”
Clearly, the Netflix star really hit it off with David, but what about Romeo? Well, as it turns out, she totally name-dropped him on the red carpet!
When asked about her hopes for her Stranger Things character Eleven, the actress said she didn’t know what she wanted for the future of her character. What she did know, however, was that she wanted Romeo to be involved in one way or another.
“I don’t know. Something with Romeo Beckham,” she said. Hmm…
The young star has also sent SnapChats to Romeo in the past, so clearly these two have been friends for a while. Now that they’ve decided to take their friendship to the next level, though, we’re happy to hear that his Spice Girl mom is totally shipping the pair — especially after Millie’s tough and very public breakup with her social media star ex-boyfriend in July 2018.
