It had been three years since the world had gotten a new, full-length album from Taylor Swift, but when she dropped Reputation on the world back on Nov. 10, 2017, she proved her break from the spotlight had been worth it. Girl came back with a vengeance, creating a career-defining batch of songs and it just won an American Music Award for Best Pop/Rock Album.

In her acceptance speech though, the 28-year-old singer made it super clear she doesn’t really intend to go into hiding again now that this album is out and she’s almost done with its accompanying world tour. Instead, she basically confirmed she’s already working on her seventh album and everyone is freaking out.

“Thank you a million times for this. This was actually the first time I ever wrote an album based on a title first. I had never come up with a title [first] before,” Taylor said during her AMAs speech. “So the whole time I was writing an album based on all the facets of a reputation, and how it affects you, what it actually means to you, I was surrounded by friends, and family, and loved ones who never loved me less based on the fluctuations of public opinion. And those people all know who they are. I always look at albums as chapters in my life and to the fans, I’m so happy you like this one. But I have to be really honest with you about something: I’m even more excited about the next chapter.”

NEXT CHAPTER THOUGH. Literally made Swifties everywhere lose their minds over the prospect that new music is on the horizon.

So yeah, the fans are legit ready for it girl.
