High School Musical OG star Vanessa Hudgens is making headlines after she showed off some new bling over the weekend. The diamond is conveniently worn on her left ring finger and it’s absolutely stunning. The whole thing is sparking engagement rumors. So, could Austin Butler have popped the question? It’s possible. The pair has been dating for more than six years, but they actually met back in 2005 on the set of High School Musical. Yes, we’re shook too. We honestly had no idea that their history goes back that far back. Apparently, Vanessa was introduced to Austin while she was still dating Zac Efron, however, their romantic relationship didn’t start until much later.
Could this be a sign that they really were meant to be together?! Maybe. Speculation started spewing about their relationship when Austin was seen leaving Vanessa’s house in September 2011. It was later on in that same month that they went public with their romance as paparazzi caught them kissing, holding hands and sharing a milkshake at Bob’s Big Boy in Los Angeles, California. The rest is history.

Dayum, girl. Unfortunately, we have an inkling that these two aren’t engaged just yet. It’s more likely that the ring could be passed down through her family or just something she bought for herself. It’s beautiful, but probably not what we think it is. They have been together for awhile though, so if Austin decides to propose anytime soon we wouldn’t be surprised.
