Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron were literally everyone's OTP during the peak Zanessa days, but it's been literal years since they've been together. The pair dated during their time as Gabriella and Troy in the High School Musical movies but by the end of 2010, they had split shattering souls everywhere. 2010 was seven years ago and since then, they obviously haven't been spotted together and V even confirmed they don't talk anymore. Like ever. But still, fans would legit freak out over a Zanessa reunion of some sorts.
So when Vanessa was co-hosting the 2017 Billboard Music Awards last night and she started to introduce the next presenter, one of the star's of Baywatch, the movie Zac has a lead role in and is currently promoting everywhere, literally everyone's heart skipped a beat thinking she was about to utter her famous ex's name on live TV.

For a second, it seemed like these two were about to come face-to-face for the firs time in years, but alas, Vanessa introduced Alexandra Daddario, one of Zac's co-stars, and Ansel Elgort to the stage.
Except that just added another layer of drama to the mix, since there are plenty of rumors swirling that Zac and Alexandra are actually dating now.

This is all literally too much to handle. The Zanessa reunion didn't happen exactly and since Zac missed out on the 10-year anniversary special for HSM, it's doubtful these two will ever be in the same room again.
