YouTuber Courtney Elizabeth Has Brain Cancer

Courtney Elizabeth has stage 3 brain cancer. You most likely know her best for beauty blogging on her own YouTube channel – Courtelizz1 and with more than 100,000 subscribers, she has gained quite the following. Now, Courtney is making videos about something super personal involving her health. She revealed to her followers that she has stage 3 brain cancer – something she was not aware of until after she had surgery to remove a tumor in her head.

Courtney says multiple times during the video that she had been told on many different occasions that the tumor was NOT cancerous. She had gone on for awhile thinking that the tumor was benign. After the surgery, her doctors told her that wasn't really the case. The details are completely heartbreaking and Courtney tries very hard in her announcement video to not cry.

Usually, fans see her completely done up with her hair and makeup to perfection. This time, it's just Courtney. She has no makeup on and even points out a few pimples on her chin that she just doesn't even care to cover up at the moment because there are bigger things to talk about. Her hair is up and she is completely raw, candid and real.

She said, "So for cancer, they said there is 4, I am a 3 and said that my 3 that I have is actually the best one out of all of them and I'm going to be fine. So I am going to get chemo and radiation, I always say that wrong, I know, but I know you know what I'm trying to say. I have to do that for, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 weeks so I have to do 6 weeks of chemo and they said that I'm going to be doing a pill. And after the chemo and the radiation, I can't say that, I'm going to be done. And then I have to do an MRI every month just to make sure everything is doing well and then I think I have to do that every month for a year."

Courtney is incredibly strong. She also super brave for explaining in detail about what she knows and is still a bit unsure about within this whole process.

Of course, there is a lot that lies ahead in her future. She explained that she wants to be making videos and doing this blogging as much as she can but sometimes it may get hard which is completely understandable. We are rooting for you, Courtney!
