So are Zendaya and Tom Holland dating or nah? That seems to be the question on everyone's mind after reports surfaced that the Spider-Man: Homecoming co-stars are indeed a couple in real life.

A source revealed to People that the pair has been dating since they filmed the movie, which took place during the summer and fall of 2016, and they have since kept things super low-key.

"They started seeing each other while they were filming Spider-Man. They’ve been super careful to keep it private and out of the public eye but they’ve gone on vacations with each other and try and spend as much time as possible with one another," the source said. "They’re both really ambitious and they challenge each other — but, most importantly, they make each other crack up. They seem to have a really similar sense of humor and love joking around together. They have great banter back and forth."

Now, if you've seen the movie already, then you know this major life update is all types of adorable. Their characters Michelle and Peter have a fun dynamic and while they don't have many scenes together, it is hinted that in the upcoming sequel, they'll get much closer and could possibly play love interests.

Plus, co-stars in the Spider-Man universe have a history. In the OG trilogy, Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst, who played Peter and Mary Jane, low-key dated off screen and in The Amazing Spider-Man series, Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone were a couple for years after playing the roles of Peter and Gwen. So Z and Tom are just following in their predecessor's romantic foot-steps!

Well, not so fast.

Zendaya saw this buzz floating around the Internet and she took to Twitter to literally laugh out loud with Tom over this rumor.

"Wait wait…my favorite is when it says we go on vacations together HA! I haven't been on a vacation in years!???hbu @TomHolland1996 ???," Zendaya wrote.

And Tom of course had the best reply. "@Zendaya Does the press tour count ??," he tweeted back.

Looks like there wasn't any actual romance going on while they were working, promoting the movie recently all over the world!

So while they technically didn't flat out deny the rumors, they're pretty much mocking this alleged source who has all this inside scoop. It is important to note that Zendaya admitted she was in a four-year relationship she kept totally private, since legit no one publicly knew about it until she decided to share this detail after she and her ex split. Maybe just maybe there might be a slight chance there's something brewing here. But we're about 99.9% sure these two are just friends!

This isn't the first time Tom and Zendaya have had to laugh off dating rumors. They are always joking around and basically roasting each other on social media and when someone speculated that love was in the air for them, Z shut it all down.

They really are just the best of the friends, something they've both spoken about time and time again and as Z pointed out, the whole cast really is a close-knit bunch.

"From the first day when the cast met each other, we all bonded immediately, we had a day where we hung out with each other, went to a picnic, did this whole thing. So all of us became friends so quickly," Zendaya shared in an interview. "And then with Tom, I think doing Lip Sync Battle and stuff like that, we're always paired together, so we've just become really, really close. He's so great, he's a great person and it's nice to know the superhero is also a good person."

And of course Tom feels the exact same way, honored to have the K.C. Undercover starlet in his corner.

"We are like the best of friends. She’s so great and amazing. I’m a little worried [about dealing with fame… but] Zendaya is super famous and she’s been through this and I just call her up and say, 'How do I manage being famous?' I’m very glad I have a friend like her," he said to People.

OK, in our hearts we're totally shipping it but even if these two just stay besties for life, we're here for it all. Two gems right there.
