Just in case you've missed one of the biggest news items of the week, Harry Styles recently revealed his new cover of Another Man magazine and drove Directioners around the world absolutely wild. But besides the insanely gorgeous pictures featured in the magazine of the singer, he also opened up about what the future holds for the world's biggest boy band: One Direction.
In one of the singer's two interviews for the mag, Harry was asked by comedian, Chelsea Handler, if he thought One Direction would ever get back together after all four of them completed some sort of solo project or did he think the band should call it a day already. And Harry's answer... well, it wasn't what we were expecting to say the least.
Harry revealed, "I don't know. When we started, people always asked, 'Where do you think you'll be in 5 years? It's a difficult question to answer. I would never say we'll never do anything again but it's good for us to be exploring different things."
Okay, so not terrible news, but it doesn't sound too good for our favorite band, either.
Harry even went so far as to say that the band had no strict guideline of when and how they would get back together – if they ever choose to, that is. He said, "Maybe at some point everyone will want to do something again but it's better if it happens naturally like, 'Hey we all really want to do this again. If that were to happen it would be amazing. I would never rule that out."
So what he's saying is that there might be hope for 1D, but maybe not right now? UGH. Please tell us that's not what he's saying!
The singer went on to try to soothe the broken hearts of Directioners everywhere by admitting that he loved his time with the boys. AWW! "It's the most important, greatest thing that ever happened to me, being in that band. It completely changed my life."
Okay, fine, so this wasn't the One Direction reunion news that we were hoping for, but as long as the boys are still giving us even the smallest of hints that they could ever get back together, then we'll be here – holding it together and trying not to cry – until they do so.
