Louis Tomlinson has some experience with being a dad now that his adorable son Freddie is over a year old, and who better to share what he's learned with than his friend and old bandmate Liam Payne? Liam became a dad to his adorable son Bear with his old X Factor judge Cheryl earlier this year, and we are sure he's thrilled that one of his best mates knows exactly what fatherhood feels like.
Kiss FM sat down with Louis to talk to him about his new single "Back To You," his TV obsessions, and of course, life as a dad. When asked whether Freddie has had a playdate with Bear yet, he responded, "No, he hasn't actually."
Not to worry though, Louis is excited to change that very soon. He went on to explain that the reason the two boys haven't met is because their dads (understandably) have been very busy. We can't imagine how hectic they must be with babies at home and new music coming out! Still, he went on to reassure us, "But listen, that's going to be a really, really cool moment."
So it sounds like the cutest playdate ever could be coming up in the near future, and when it does, we just hope they'll share pics with all of us. Our only request? The 1D guys need to invite Niall Horan. Uncle Niall has been dying to meet Bear and even suggested the guys have a One Direction reunion while doing it. (He has a gifts picked out for Liam's firstborn too.)
Plus the "Slow Hands" singer already has a good relationship with Freddie because they live near each other in California. Nialler told Billboard, "I see Louis and [his son] little Freddie all the time. He lives around the corner from me [in Los Angeles]."
Our hearts are melting over the prospect of Freddie and Bear together. Add Niall into the mix and it might be too much. Come on, guys. Make it happen!
