We’ve all been freaking out ever since the news hit the web that two of our favorite Disney girls were teaming up for a new Netflix movie. That’s right, Sabrina Carpenter and Paris Berelc are set to star in an upcoming flick called Tall Girl, and boy, does it sound epic. Lucky for us, Sabrina, as well as some other castmates, have shared some behind-the-scenes snaps from on set of the new movie, and OMG… it’s got us even more excited than we already were!
According to Netflix, the movie will be about a 6-foot-3, 16-year-old girl named Jodi who has never exactly fit in because of her height. But when a tall exchange student enrolls at her school, she not only learns to embrace her differences, but she also falls in love.
Sabrina, the 19-year-old actress who we all know from Girl Meets World, will be playing Harper, Jodi’s melodramatic, pageant-winning older sister. Paris, on the other hand, will star as Liz, the free-spirited best friend of Jodi’s nemesis. You’ll probably recognize the actress from her role in the Disney XD shows Lab Rats and Mighty Med. So yeah, it’s seriously going to be a Disney reunion on set!
And the cast keeps getting better and better because you’re not going to believe who will play Jodi’s best friend. Drum roll please… Griffin Gluck will star as Jack Dunkleman. In case you forgot, he was the star of the movie Middle School: The Worst Years Of My Life. As for Jodi, newcomer Ava Michelle was cast for the role. Yeah, with a cast that iconic, we can hardly contain our excitement.
