This sure-to-be amazing tune will be Demi’s first new song since June 2018, just before she suffered from a scary overdose the following month. As fans know, after spending two weeks in the hospital, the songstress also completed a three month rehab stint and was released in November 2018.

Earlier this month, the Disney Channel alum revealed that she’s back and better than ever. During Teen Vogue Summit in Los Angeles on Saturday, November 2, Demi opened up about her struggles saying she has changed a lot and plans to focus on her career.

“I’ve changed a lot. I’ve gone through a lot,” she said. “What I see in the mirror [is] someone that’s overcome a lot. I’ve been through a lot and I genuinely see a fighter. I don’t see a championship winner, but I see a fighter and someone who is going to continue to fight no matter what is thrown in their way. I just want people to remember that I’m a singer. I think that a lot of the things I’ve been through kind of out shined [sic] my successes in the music industry or acting now. I just want people to remember that that’s what I want to give to the world so please focus on that and not the other things.”
