It's officially August, which means that Ariana Grande's highly anticipated new album Sweetener is only a little more than two weeks away from gracing our ears. While the songs we've heard so far like "No Tears Left to Cry," "The Light Is Coming," and "God is a Woman" are total jams, there is one tune everyone is anxiously waiting to hear. And it's the track all about her fiancé, comedian and actor Pete Davidson.
The lovebirds have had a whirlwind romance and after only dating for a few months, they got engaged, simply just head over heels for each other. It's all v cute and they've even gotten tattoos in honor of each other which you know, is permanently on your skin forever, so clearly this the real deal for them. It makes sense that Ariana would have a song inspired by this epic love in her life and when she revealed Sweetener's tracklist, she shared there is a song simply called "Pete" on it. When a fan asked her on Twitter why she made this choice to write, record, and share this song, she explained that simply, she's been through a lot in her 25 years so far, so why not share this beautiful part of her life with everyone?
Fair enough, girl! But now, she's revealed on Twitter yet again — since she's an active queen, always engaging with her fans on there — that the song has had a bit of a makeover. It should sound the same as far as we know, but the songstress admitted she's changed the title of the track to his bae's full name, "Pete Davidson." And her reason for the switch-up is literally the most precious thing ever. "I like the way it looks, I love his name and I love him," she wrote. "Music lasts forever. It'll outlive any tattoo, any memory, any anything, even myself so I want my love for him and how I feel to be a part of that."

Umm, okay Ari way to make us SOB. For anyone who ever doubted if her feelings for Pete aren't real, well there you go. She wants her love for him to go down in history and with this song, it truly will. Ariana is a woman in love and she wants the world to know it, forever. BRB, sobbing all day now over this.
