Get ready to bring on all the nostalgia, you guys! Yep, Kirsten Dunst and Gabrielle Union just reunited for the Bring It On 20th anniversary, and they even shared their ideas for a possible sequel, which would bring back their iconic characters, Torrance and Isis.

“Whatever that we may, one day come up with, I don’t know. Kirsten maybe we’re, like, co-head of the PTA,” Gabrielle teased during their chat on Tuesday, August 25. Kirsten added, “Or we run a cheer school like [Netflix’s] Cheer. Who knows? It has to be a competition against somebody.”

As fans know, the actress’ ideas came just days after the Bring It On director Peyton Reed revealed that a possible sequel with the original cast is something he’s “definitely been talking about recently.”

“We have talked about doing a 20-years-later thing that becomes a generational cheerleader movie,” he told Insider. “Particularly with the thematics involved, I think that could be something that would be really timely. And hopefully something that would not shy away from the inherent issues of the movie.”

Peyton added, “I think there’s a great version to be done.”

But that’s not all! During his chat with Insider, the director admitted that the iconic teeth-brushing scene between Torrance and Jesse Bradford‘s Cliff — which has since become a cultural phenomenon and reenacted by Ariana Grande in her “Thank U Next” music video — was not in the original script.

“It was something that we added later, and I liked that it’s a completely wordless scene,” Peyton revealed. “The two of them got really into it, and the stuff that Kirsten did where she’s spitting in the sink and hiding it with her hand, that was really fun. To me, it felt like a Frank Capra movie, like ‘It Happened One Night,’ where it’s fraught with sexual tension. I was really pleased.”

Along with a sequel, we’d love a modern-day version of this scene ASAP!
