Oh no! Cameron Dallas just had to pay a visit to the hospital after a beach trip gone totally wrong! Yep, that’s right. The star and his friends went to the beach and ended up finding a huge cliff and waterfall — which they decided to jump off of.
After Cameron jumped, he yelled to his friends that he dislocated his arm. Thankfully, they were able to airlift him to the hospital. And don’t worry, you guys, he will be just fine!
It all started when the “Why Haven’t I Met You” crooner took to Instagram on June 30 to share a photo of himself in a hospital bed. Much to fans’ surprise, he was smiling ear to ear — which led everyone to believe that despite what happened, he’s doing OK.
“Should I post the video?” he captioned the photo, adding a laughing emoji and another comment, which said, “It’s so dumb how I got it.”
Shortly after sharing the selfie, the 24-year-old posted a 1-minute IGTV video, which documents the entire incident. From the initial jump that caused his dislocated shoulder to the moment he was airlifted to the hospital, the “Cliff Jumping Gone Wrong” video really shows it all!
“I ended up dislocating my shoulder jumping off a 70-80 ft cliff because I didn’t put my arms to my side, this was supposed to be just a beach trip,” the social media star captioned the video.
He then commented on the video, clarifying that he was told to put his hands to the side while jumping — but forgot!
“I WAS LITERALLY WAS TOLD TO PUT MY HANDS TO THE SIDE AND FORGOT LMAO,” he wrote.
As terrifying as this experience was for Cameron and his friends, we are so thankful that he seems to be in good spirits and doing OK. Phew, what a close call!
