Danielle Fishel just shared the most exciting news ever. The Girl Meets World actress just revealed that she and her husband Jensen Karp are expecting their first baby together! And prepare yourselves because not only did the couple reveal the gender of the baby, but they also dropped a possible name — and we’re freaking out!
“I’m eating for two,” the 37-year-old shared in an Instagram post on Jan. 2, 2019. “I’m napping with wild abandon. Baby shoes. Baby clothes. (I’m shopping). I’m nesting. I’m reading books. I’m madly in love with my husband. I cry at commercials. I’m a walking cliché. I’ve got baby apps. I’m confident. I feel inadequate. I’m showing one day and the next I’m not. I’m nervous. I’m excited. He’s due in July. We can’t wait. #BabyKarp2019.”
The actress’ hubby also took to social media to share his excitement, where he revealed that the couple is expecting a boy! “GUYS. We’re having a baby boy,” he wrote. “Couldn’t be more excited to raise a sweet little dumpling with @daniellefishel.”
Jensen, who’s a writer, comedian, and radio personality, also left a sweet comment on his wife’s post, writing, “This post is better than mine. Love You. Let’s name him Jordan.” OMG, did he really just reveal the baby name like that? Screaming.
As J-14 readers know, the couple tied the knot back in November of 2018, just two years after the actress divorced from Tim Belusko. “Today I married my soulmate,” Jensen wrote at the time. “We were surrounded by family and friends and it was the best day of my life. I also ate 3 donuts after dinner. Unrelated. @daniellefishel, I love you so much and thank you for giving me this smile.” Ugh, they’re seriously the cutest.
August Maturo, who played Auggie Matthews (Danielle’s son on Girl Meets World), left the sweetest message ever for the couple. “Your TV son is so happy you are getting a real-life son,” he commented under her announcement pic. “You are going to be the greatest mom EVER, and I should know!! Congratulations.”
The comment is bringing back some major GMW feels. We’re all honestly wondering if any other stars from the show will send their congrats, especially Sabrina Carpenter, who has stayed super close to the actress since the show ended. Ugh, we are seriously over the moon for the couple.
