Sorry, #Evma shippers, but we have some very sad news for you. According to Us Weekly, Emma Roberts and Evan Peters have reportedly called off their engagement — once again.
“Emma and Evan were heading for a split and now are just friends,” a source close to the pair confirmed to the outlet. “Evan has moved out. It wasn’t a bad breakup.”
Wow, we’re not going to lie, we’re pretty shocked. And that’s not all because Us Weekly also reported that the Scream Queens actress already has a new boyfriend! The 28-year-old is apparently dating actor Garrett Hedlund, who you may recognize from the movies TRON: Legacy, Four Brothers and Mudbound.
According to the magazine, “Garrett and Emma have been friends, but this is new, casual, and just a couple of weeks old.”
An onlooker even spotted the new couple walking together in Los Angeles, and they couldn’t keep their hands off each other!
“[Garrett] had his arm around [her] for a bit and then they were holding hands,” the eyewitness told Us.
As fans know, Evan and Emma, who starred in American Horror Story together for four seasons, started dating back in 2012 after falling for each other on set of Adult World. But unfortunately, the relationship hasn’t been exactly easy.
The former couple dated on-and-off for years, and they even got engaged once before. The actors announced that they were preparing to walk down the aisle together in 2013, but unfortunately ended the engagement a little over one year later. But the pair got back together again in September of 2016, and engaged again one month later, and since then, they seemed like they were happier than ever.
We’re not too sure when or why things went wrong this time, but the last time they were spotted together was in January of 2019. We honestly just want them both to be happy.
