It’s been over 18 years since the first Harry Potter movie premiered, and it seriously feels like just yesterday when we were watching our favorite wizards battle it out on the big screen. But get this, you guys — even though a bunch of time has passed since the films came out, the cast is still as close as ever! How do we know? Well, Emma Watson and Tom Felton just had the cutest reunion ever, proving that their bond will never be broken.
The actor shared a snap of himself teaching his former costar how to play guitar on Monday, August 19. Yeah, you HP fans might want to grab some tissues because their hangout session is giving us a major wave of nostalgia.
“Quick learner,” he captioned the sweet photo.
OMG. Seeing them together again, just casually hanging out in their PJ’s is bringing on all the feels. Oh, and did we mention the photo was taken in South Africa? Yep, the two stars just took a trip all the way around the world together, and our hearts are bursting.
As fans know, Potterheads have actually been shipping these two for a while now. And it turns out, this isn’t the first time the costars have gotten together over the last 18 years. Back in February, the 29-year-old actress shared a photo of herself and tagged Tom as the photographer.
“Friends capture you best,” she wrote.
And in November 2018, she shared an adorable selfie with the 31-year-old, as they soaked up the sun on the beach!
They hung out once again in April 2018, and their other costar Matthew Lewis was also there!
“School mates #Hogwartsalumni,” Tom wrote on Instagram, alongside a photo of the three stars looking happier than ever.
To make things even juicier, Emma has admitted in the past that she had a major crush on Tom while they were filming the HP flicks.
“Between the ages of 10 and 12 I had a really terrible crush on Tom Felton. We love a bad guy, and he was a few years older and he had a skateboard and that just did it really,” she gushed on The Jonathan Ross Show. “He used to do tricks on it. He was so cool. He totally knew [I had a crush]. And the thing is, he’d turn and go, ‘Oh, I see her in a younger sisterly way.’ And it just broke my heart, still does.”
OUR HEARTS. OK, so are Tom and Emma in a relationship or have they ever dated? Unfortunately, until we get some official confirmation it’s hard to say — especially since both of them keep their love life pretty quiet. Well, whether they’re BFFs or soulmates, we’re seriously living for their relationship.
