After more than three years together, Jade Thirlwall and her boyfriend Jed Elliott have reportedly called it quits. According to British newspaper Daily Mail, the couple has decided to go their separate ways after being forced to spend a lot of time apart due to their hectic work schedules.

“Jade and Jed have decided to end the relationship,” a source close to the Little Mix singer told the outlet. “There is honestly no big drama, it has just sadly run its course. They spent so much time apart as Jed is on tour constantly in the USA with his band The Struts. And obviously Jade is super busy with Little Mix promo, and about to start a massive LM5 Tour. The split is amicable and they remain mates.”

The “Bounce Back” songstress has previously opened up about the difficulties of balancing her job and her relationship.

“We’ve been together two years but it feels like we’ve only just started going out because we never see each other,” she told The Mirror in October 2017. “It’s been a bit s–t not seeing each other I must admit. I’m going to try and see my boyfriend over Christmas, we don’t see each other very often.”

And back in December 2018, the 26-year-old revealed that the pair hadn’t seen each other in over 100 days when she posted a video of her and the 28-year-old musician reuniting in the airport. She held up a sign that said, “Welcome home,” and as soon as her beau saw her, he ran to her with open arms. The two embraced in a big hug and kiss, and our hearts were seriously bursting.

“103 days later,” she captioned the sweet clip.

The couple first started dating in the beginning of 2016. And they quickly became relationship goals — constantly gushing over each other on social media and in interviews, and posting adorable, PDA-filled pictures when they did find time to hang out.
