While speaking to The Sun backstage at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend on Saturday, May 25, Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock revealed that some of them have shared quite a few smooches before.
When asked if there had ever been anything sexual between them, Perrie replied, “Of course there has. Me and Jesy get together all the time.”
OK, what? As fans know, both girls are currently in a relationship — Jesy is dating former Love Island contestant Chris Hughes, while Perrie, on the other hand, has been with Liverpool soccer player Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain for almost three years now. But don’t worry, you guys, they’re still going strong! The 25-year-old blonde beauty explained that her kisses with Jesy, 27, are totally innocent.
“It was funny, but we are like sisters,” she added.
And in case you were wondering, they’re not the only celebrity besties to share a kiss on the lips. Get this — Noah Centineo smooched his male friend, Chase Austin, on the lips once, and he definitely wasn’t ashamed about it.
