On Wednesday, December 4, Joe Jonas posted a totally hilarious video of him covering Taylor Swift‘s hit song “Lover.” The 30-year-old singer took to Instagram Stories and recorded a quick video serenading brother Nick Jonas. That’s not all! He even added his own twist to the tune.

“That’s my, my, my…brother,” the Jonas Brothers member crooned while zooming in on Nick.

Naturally, fans couldn’t get enough of the laugh-out-loud worthy clip! For those who don’t know, the singers had a brief fling back in 2008 and after they parted ways, Taylor revealed on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that the Jonas Brothers singer had broken up with her in a 27-second voicemail. In May 2019, the “You Need To Calm Down” singer apologized for putting her ex on blast back in the day. She said it was the most rebellious thing she ever did as a teenager. Now, it seems Joe and Taylor are on good terms.

The “Only Human” singer isn’t the only one of Taylor’s ex boyfriends that covered “Lover.” Back in November, John Mayer seemingly made fun of the song during his Instagram Live show Current Mood. The 42-year-old critiqued the lyrics in the song’s first verse and said, “I really like the song. I get a little chuckle because she says, ‘We can keep the Christmas lights up ’til January.’ And I go, ‘You’re insane. Everyone keeps their Christmas lights up until January.’ And I go, ‘Can you really?’ Because normally I take my Christmas lights down on December 29.’”

Just like Joe, John also changed up the lyrics and created his own version of the song.

“We can keep the Christmas lights up till January. And then about January 5th, we’ll take the lights down. And then we’ll put ’em in a box and we’ll label that box Christmas Lights. Yeah, we’ll put ’em in the attic until next December,” he sung.
