Okay, so the Internet naturally freaked out when Jonas Brothers reunion seemed like it was about to happen. Devoted JoBro's fans started jumping to conclusions when the guys go together to enjoy a little fashion show in support of Nick Jonas. It all started when #JonasBrothers began trending on Twitter. Some people believed that the boys had reactivated their Instagram account, signaling a reunion of sorts. But as other fans pointed out, the account was never gone in the first place. Their friend John just got a little nostalgic and started liking some major throwback pictures.
Nothing wrong with that, but of course now every time fans see the boys together, they think they’re working on some kind of secret project. Even when they’re just trying to get in some brotherly time. Take Joe Jonas'’s latest Instagram post as clear evidence. The DNCE frontman shared a candid shot of the three of them captioned, “The Boys.”
Kevin Jonas also shared the same picture on his Instagram account. Fans took to the comments section to speculate that they were in the studio and marking their official return as a group. As wonderful as that news would be, we’re here to deliver some heartbreaking news. This latest post isn’t signaling anything other than the guys supporting Nick and his newly announced collaboration with designer John Varvatos. The “Jealous” singer shared the news about his campaign just a few days ago, and captioned his latest Insta post (where he's wearing the same outfit as in Joe's pic), “JV fashion show was amazing! This is me staring at my collaborator and friend @johnvarvatos with pride. Congrats! #JVFW18.”
Nick squashed the rumors even more so on the 2018 Grammys red carpet. While chatting with Ryan Seacrest, he said, "We hung out for a weekend all together and I guess our Instagram was restarted. Right now there’s no reunion planned. But never say never — you never know what’s going to happen." There are two points we'd like to address here. First of all, it's kind of hilarious how Nick doesn't even realize that the Jonas Brothers' Instagram was never "restarted." It was always active, there just wasn't much going on because the band had broken up. DUH. But, like, no one had ever deactivated it in the first place. This "reactivating" was made up.
The second thing is that even though there isn't a Jonas Brothers reunion happening at the moment, Nick was sure to say that anything can happen. We know, we know, you've heard this before. But, it's pretty cool that he isn't totally dismissing the idea. Coming from the brother who broke up the boys in the first place is a pretty big deal. There's one thing we know for sure. Either Nick or Niall Horan might be the only ones to convince the guys to give it another go. If you didn't already know, Nialler is a huge JoBro fangirl himself. We're just waiting for it to happen.
