Miley Cyrus just gave us major feels when she threw in an iconic Hannah Montana reference in her new music video! Miley released the song, called “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart,” with Mark Ronson on Thursday, Nov. 29, and the video for it features the 26-year-old in an intense police chase. Many of the scenes seem to reference different time periods of Miley’s past — including, of course, her Disney days — and we are loving it!

At one point in the music video, it shows a newscast about the singer and the pursuit, and the headline of the broadcast is “Miley’s wild ride.” Who remembers that episode of Hannah Montana where Miley didn’t want her BFF Lily to see she went to a party, so she jumped on the paparazzi’s back to try to get his camera from him? Well in case you forgot, when the pics of her on top of the photographer ended up in the newspaper, the headline was “Hannah’s wild ride!” Coincidence? We think not.

A fan pointed it out, and naturally Twitter went wild.

The video has tons of other references, including a wrecking ball ornament hanging in one of the police men’s cars and the giant teddy bears that she infamously danced with on stage every night of the Bangerz Tour.

Miley even included some old photos, so it’s clear the video is a total tribute to her past, and we’re living for this walk down memory lane! As J-14 readers know, the singer has never shied away from being herself and talking about her past. She even wrote a song about her Hannah Montana days, called “Younger Now.”

“I love that I was f—ing Hannah Montana. That’s what the song ‘Younger Now’ on my album is about,” she explained on The Howard Stern Show. “It says, ‘Even though it’s not who I am, I’m not afraid of who I used to be.'”

We are loving that Miley constantly embraces her past, especially because the show was such a big part of our childhood! The nostalgia is so real right now.
