Raini Rodriguez has been the target of some pretty distasteful memes recently, and it’s time for it to stop. Trolls on Twitter are claiming that the Disney Channel alum is the reason for Pete Davidson and Ariana Grande’s split. From photoshopped photos of Raini and Pete together to downright false claims that the two are romantically linked, it has seriously gotten out of hand. Much to our delight though, supportive fans are taking to Raini’s defense and expressing their love for the fabulous, talented, gorgeous individual she is.

“No one believes how much I genuinely love @Raini_Rodriguez she goes through so much with all the memes and sis is still thriving my queen and inspiration honestly,” one fan wrote.

Someone else tweeted, “do y’all get tired of making fun of raini rodriguez btw?”

So please, can Raini be removed from this narrative? She has absolutely nothing to do with the 24-year-old comedian and 25-year-old “Sweetener” singer’s breakup. Raini has been vocal about how cyberbullying has affected her in the past, but she never lets internet trolls have the power. She just doesn’t feed into their negativity.

“I’m not some HUGE star to say, ‘Every bully in the world stop!’ the 25-year-old actress said in an interview with Just Jared Jr. “But for the people who are doing something to me, I said, ‘Stop! You do not have control over me and my thoughts and my positivity that I choose to spread. So I’m going to take this and make it a positive thing and continue posting what I want to post and living my best life and spreading my positivity to whoever likes to receive it because I’m not going to live my life according to you.'”

Being the victim of any kind of bullying doesn’t ever feel good. And while it can be hard to not let it affect you, Raini is the perfect example of someone who doesn’t let bullies stop her from living her life to the fullest.

She added, “You know, getting bullied at any age is never right and it never feels good no matter how confident you are in yourself, you will always have that moment of being like, ‘Okay well that hurts my feelings!’ And then you have to get to a point within yourself to go, ‘You know what, I live my life for myself, not for anybody else. I love my family, I love my career, I love my dog, I love my friends, I love exactly where I’m at! So I’m going to keep posting photos and sending out tweets, even if you’re going to send crazy responses. Because it’s my profile I can block, I can mute, I can do what I want to not see that.'”

You go, Raini!
