Sofia Carson and Meg Donnelly Dish on Disney's 2019 ARDYs

The 2019 ARDYs is definitely going to be a night to remember. Radio Disney is honoring all of our favorite singers, artists, groups and actors at the star studded event, which will take place on Sunday, June 16 at 8 p.m. EST/PST. You can catch the glamorous award show on Disney Channel and on multiple Disney-branded platforms, including the Radio Disney app, the DisneyNOW app and Disney.com/ARDYs.

But who can you expect to see at the award show, you ask? Well, get this, you guys — Descendants‘ actress Sofia Carson is hosting the event. And um, did we mention that Meg Donnelly is performing her new single, “With U,” with Fetty Wap? Plus, Gabby Barrett is also planning to hit the stage! Yeah, you definitely do not want to miss this.

J-14: What are you looking forward to most about the 2019 ARDYs?

Sofia Carson: This year, ARDYs is a show FOR the fans run BY the fans. Everything we do, we do for the incredible fans who we owe absolutely everything to. The 2019 ARDYs are truly a celebration of the beautiful family we’ve created, united in our love of music.

J-14: What are you most looking forward to about your performance?

Gabby Barrett: I’m so excited to sing my single that I wrote, “I Hope.” Now that the song has been out, it’s so rewarding to sing your song and see people singing it back. And, I might have a little surprise planned that is going to be a nice tribute to Disney! You’ll have to tune in to see.
