The Nickelodeon show Drake & Josh was all of our obsessions when it aired from 2004-2007, so the thought of the cast reuniting 11 years later is definitely an emotional one. Well you guys, you might want to grab some tissues because Drake Bell and Josh Peck just hung out and wow… it’s definitely bringing back all the feels!
So Drake recently dropped the music video for his new single, “Fuego Lento,” and in honor of the big release, he shared a hilarious clip of him teaching his old co-star the lyrics. But since part of the song is in Spanish, the 32-year-old actor had a little trouble getting it down.
“‘Fuego Lento’ con Drake y Josh,” Drake, 32, captioned the funny video. Ugh, seeing them together is seriously epic! Especially considering that the two had a major feud back in 2017. After Josh got married to his wife Paige O’Brien Peck and didn’t invite his TV brother, Drake was pretty hurt. He took to Twitter where he went on a now-deleted rant. “When you’re not invited to the wedding the message is clear…” he wrote.
“True colors have come out today. Message is loud and clear. Ties are officially cut. I’ll miss you brotha,” he added.
Yikes! But when the boys ran into each other at the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards and hugged it out, we were relieved to know that everything was all good between them again. And a few months later, the two actors teamed up to surprise Drake & Josh super fan David Dobrik, and get this — they even sang a tiny snippet of the show’s theme song!
On December 29, 2018, Josh and his wife Paige welcomed their son Max Milo Peck and we wonder if Drake has met the little guy yet! After all the drama, we’re seriously so glad that everything’s all good between them now.
