If you're a member of the Zquad, then you know Zayn Malik has nothing but love and respect for his fans – and he just proved that yet again in the most heartwarming way. The singer took to Twitter to pay tribute to a longtime, beloved fan who sadly passed away. And with one tweet sent out to his more than 27 million followers, he reminded his fandom just how much they mean to him.
Zayn saw that a loyal fan, who went by @zaynsborderz on Twitter, had passed away after a long battle with cancer – after another fan account, @ztatus, shared the heartbreaking update. The "Too Much" singer came across the tweet and just had to share his condolences, letting everyone know he's "forever grateful" he had @zaynsborderz's support.
Although Zayn might not have known this fan personally, the power of the Internet brought them together. It's nice to know that Z is not only engaging with his fans online, but he truly appreciates them all and takes the time to get to know them virtually as much as he can. Coming from One Direction, a band with arguably some of the most fiercely loyal fans of all time, Zayn knows how powerful that connection with his supporters is. He clearly takes it seriously and has nothing but pure and honest love right back to his fans. What a guy that Zayn is, always letting his Zquad know just how special they are to him. We'll just be here in a puddle of feels all day now.
