It seems Gigi Hadid has introduced the singer to all the right people…

Back in October, it was revealed that model Gigi Hadid helped boyfriend Zayn Malik land himself a new fashion gig. Thanks to her close relationship with designer Donatella Versace, Zayn has designed a collection for Versus Versace.

And the former One Directioner has finally given fans a sneak peek from the upcoming collaboration and it seems he's recruited another member of the Hadid clan to help out…

Bella Hadid features in the new campaign wearing her sister's boyfriend's merch.

‘Zayn X Versus’ is a capsule collection of both men’s and women’s clothing set to be released in Versus stores and online next week.

And this should not be mistaken for any ordinary celebrity-endorsed line, as Donatella assured in an interview with the The New York Times, "He's smart to do it with me".

It’s not the first time that Donatella has teamed up with a musician either, as everyone from the Foo Fighters to Lenny Kravitz have played at past Versus shows. And it was Zayn’s ‘rebellion’ that bagged him the collaboration.

The Italian designer first met Zayn alongside former One Directioner Harry Styles, though Donatella doesn’t wish to be mistaken for a 1D fanatic as she admitted to The New York Times, “I was not exactly a fan of that band…”

She did however warm to Zayn eventually as she told the paper, “I met him again when he started to date Gigi, who I work with all the time. And he impressed me very much — he was so mature, so thoughtful, treated her like such a gentleman. They are a very nice young people, a lovely couple, in fact.”

She continued, “And then he told me how much he loved fashion. It was then I knew he was the right face for what I had in mind.”

And we mustn't forget that this isn't Zayn's first foray into fashion, as he only recently announced a collaboration with Giuseppe Zanotti, due to be released in 2017.

But Zayn is just as committed to the new project as Donatella, as he told The New York Times in an email, “I’ve always wanted to design clothes and there’s no brand I’d rather design for than Versus. I like to learn about things I’m interested in and I enjoy being around creative people so I think it will be cool.”

We wonder if Gigi will make an appearance in the campaign too…
