Just like many celebrities, Lana Condor did anything and everything she could to attend the 2019 Met Gala. In a series of heartfelt Instagram Stories posts, the actress recounted her first-ever appearance at the star-studded event, and she even revealed to fans that she flew back to Vancouver, Canada to film To All The Boys 2: P.S. I Still Love You hours after attending the event NYC.
“We were shooting To All The Boys 2 during Met Gala. I worked everyday, so for a hot second I thought I wasn’t going to be able to attend the gala. I was HEARTBROKEN. Then, like a d**n fairy godmother, production agreed to halt production for ONE DAY so I could go. It was literally a miracle, and I am so grateful for everyone that helped make that happen,” she explained to followers in an Instagram Stories post. “The catch was — I HAD to be back in time to work the next day (Tuesday). That meant — I flew from Vancouver to NYC, did the Met, did the after parties, got RIGHT on a plane back to Vancouver in the EARLY EARLY morning (without sleeping & still having my full glam on) and sped to work just to make it on time.”
It’s official, Lana is a true superstar. Going from full glam to Lara Jean Covey in a matter of hours? We don’t know if we could do it, TBH! But that’s not all! The 22-year-old also shared a few more snaps from the aftermath of the star-studded event and, get this, she even saved her nails in a baggie for the memories.
After removing her Met Gala glam, the TATBILB star told fans that she spent the entire day filming in the rain.
“The world has a funny sense of humor,” the brunette beauty joked.
At the end of the day, all’s well that ended well for Lana because now, she has an entire night of epic memories!
