For months we’ve been wondering what the heck went down between Alan Bersten and Alexis Ren. And now, we finally have some answers!
For those of you that missed it, the pair appeared on the 27th season of Dancing With the Stars together. But when they started to fall for each other, we were all pretty much living for the relationship. It was honestly like a real life fairy tale, and we had the pleasure of watching it unfold right in front of our eyes every week.
But as obsessed as we all were, some fans started to become a little suspicious that the relationship might have been faked for the cameras. Well guys, Alan is finally spilling the tea on what went down between them both during and after the show. And unfortunately, it wasn’t pretty.
Speaking to Jana Kramer on her “Whine Down” podcast, the dancer revealed that things did not end well between them.
“She is a beautiful person, in and out, but, that didn’t end up so well,” he said.
And last month, he admitted to Us Weekly that they weren’t even on speaking terms. Yikes!
“I haven’t spoken to her in awhile. I’m not gonna lie. I’m gonna be honest,” the 24-year-old said. “No more showmances for me. I’m done!”
OK, did Alan just confirm their relationship was indeed a showmance after all? Definitely seems like he did, if you ask us.
As fans know, the dance partners confessed their feelings for each other halfway through the season.
“I am developing feelings for Alan. And I didn’t see this one coming. But it happened really quickly though, so I think I’m still trying to process it,” Alexis, 22, said on an episode the show.
“I’ve never had an experience like this,” Alan told her during DWTS. “It’s so easy to just hang out with you and have fun and not worry about everything else. I know you put yourself out there last week and I do have feelings for you. And I really feel like I am falling for you.”
After that, they couldn’t keep their hands (or their lips!) off each other. Ugh, they were seriously the cutest.
