Actor Ansel Elgort may be in a long-term relationship with his high school sweetheart, Violetta Komyshan, but The Fault In Our Stars star is still looking for love.

“I’d also like to find a lot more love. It doesn’t need to be sexual. I could be done sexually with my girlfriend,” he told The Times. “I think we’ve been pretty clear that I want to feel free to fall in love with people and that [option] should be open, but sexually it can be closed off.”

The 25-year-old explained that despite having a girlfriend, he’s actually fallen in love with a bunch of men and women over the years — including his TFIOS costar, Shailene Woodley!

“I’m in love with a bunch of my male friends who I’m not interested in having sex with, so why can’t I put the desire to have sex with women aside and let myself have love with women?” he continued. “I love Shailene and we never had anything sexual and that was great. There will probably be some sort of chemical thing at some point that you can’t help, but you just have to be disciplined and not be a f—er. We’re primitive beings.”

As fans know, Ansel and the 23-year-old ballerina started dating during their freshman year of high school. And although they had a brief five-month breakup, they’ve been pretty much couple goals ever since.

“I was doing OK, but I knew something was missing, and I was like, ‘Oh, that’s love,'” the Divergent star explained to Details Magazine about their split.

“They just missed each other,” a source close to the pair told Us Weekly about why they got back together. “He thought his schedule was too much to have a girlfriend during, he’s been touring nonstop for movies and working on music, but they talked throughout. He didn’t really see anyone else seriously while they were split.”
