If you’re anything like us over here at J-14, you’re probably obsessed with Asher Angel. We mean, the cutie pretty much stole all of our hearts when he appeared as Jonah Beck in Disney Channel’s Andi Mack over the last three seasons, right? But now that the show is coming to an end, we’re all out here wondering — what’s next for the actor?
Well guys, J-14 just caught up with the 16-year-old exclusively, and he spilled all the tea on his upcoming projects. And boy, does he have a lot up his sleeve! Aside from acting, Asher’s also an amazing singer, songwriter and dancer – and now that the Disney show is ending, he’s ready to focus on his music career. Yeah, you might want to brace yourselves because he just confirmed that he’s got an album on the way, and we’re seriously freaking out!
“I want to come out with an album so that’s definitely the plan, to get an album in the works,” he told us. “I have a lot of upcoming projects that I’m not able to share yet so make sure to stay tuned. I’ve got some cool stuff in the works, so I’m excited to share.”
OMG. How exciting is that? As fans know, Asher’s actually released a bunch of songs over the years, but he hasn’t release a full album quite yet. His latest single, “One Thought Away” (featuring Wiz Khalifa) is a total bop, if you ask us, and we’ve had it on repeat ever since it dropped back in April. We know his debut album is going to be epic — hopefully we won’t have to wait too much longer!
Yeah, you definitely want to make sure you stay tuned to all of his social media accounts because the second he announces something we’re all going to lose it.
