Everyone knows that Dylan Sprouse‘s character on The Suite Life of Zack And Cody was totally crushing on Ashley Tisdale‘s character. And now that they’ve all grown up, little Zack Martin’s dreams may finally be coming true! Maddie Fitzpatrick, err, we mean Ashley, just totally gushed over the actor and his twin brother’s major glo up.
The High School Musical star sat down with People Now where she admitted that when they filmed the show, she found the boys super cute.
“We didn’t think they’d ever really grow,” she said. “I’m serious they were like, not growing! And we were like, ‘Okay, I think you might be this short for a long time.’ And I was just like ‘Whatever, they’re so cute.'”
But now that they’ve matured, the 33-year-old thinks that Dylan and Cole, 26, have grown into some pretty good looking guys!
“But then they like, they just full on grew up overnight and I was like ‘Oh my God,'” she explained. “And they’re so good looking, like really good looking, and they’re good people too, really smart!”
The actress still occasionally sees her former co-stars too. They gave us all the feels when Ashley posted this pic with Cole after they reunited at Debby Ryan‘s 24th birthday party last year. With Ashley’s latest confession though, we bet little Zack would be dying right now. C’mon, who remembers his and Maddie’s epic kiss during The Suite Life on Deck?
It was a moment. Ashley also appeared on BUILD recently, where she revealed that she has no regrets about her Disney days.
“I’m so grateful for that experience. I’m so grateful for those roles. I was doing The Suite Life and High School Musical and recording an album and also doing Phineas and Ferb at the same time, which is a lot. At that time in my life, that was what I wanted to do, I was like, ‘I need to be on Disney’ so I was so down,” she explained. “And the places we got to go and tour with High School Musical was so awesome, so I’m very grateful for that and I know I wouldn’t be where I am without that.”
Ashley’s clearly got nothing but love for her past and it couldn’t be sweeter.
