Can we get a show of hands — who here has been ignored by their friends before? We know we have, and it’s honestly the worst feeling. Well guys, it may make you feel a little better to learn that one of our favorite celebrities has also experienced the painful frustration of someone not responding to their text messages! Singer Billie Eilish just revealed that she totally ignored a text from Shawn Mendes, and his reaction was everything.

In a recent interview with First We Feast, the 17-year-old was asked who the last famous person that she texted was.

“Shawn Mendes texted me but I didn’t respond,” Billie revealed, laughing.

Um, ouch! We wonder what he texted her about… Anyways, how did the “There’s Nothing Holding Me Back” singer take it, you ask? Well, he retweeted a video of the interview and wrote, “LOL wow.”

OK, how cute is his reaction? We’re so glad he’s able to laugh about it. Shawn is definitely not alone, and naturally, fans were quick to send the 20-year-old singer their support.

“You can text me, I’ll be there,” one fan wrote to him.

“Don’t worry she’s the only one who would do that,” another fan added.

“Send me a message, I’ll reply in less than a second,” a third wrote.

And Shawn isn’t the only pop star sending Billie messages. She revealed last week that Justin Bieber slid into her DMs recently. Unfortunately, Billie wouldn’t reveal what the messages were about, but she told Entertainment Tonight, “One day you’ll find out. That s–t was crazy.”

And their convo started in, like, the most epic way possible.

“The first thing he sent was a screenshot of a DM I sent him in 2014” she explained. “You know how when you follow somebody, you can see everything they DMed you in the past? It felt good and it felt bad at the same time.”

OMG. Do we sense a possible collab coming from Justin and Billie? Maybe we’ll get a Shawn and Billie collab too! If she ever responds to his text messages, that is.
