It looks like Bridgit Mendler is officially a married woman! The Good Luck Charlie actress seemingly married her longtime boyfriend, Griffin Cleverly, on Saturday, October 12.
Although the former Disney star and her beau have yet to post anything about it on social media, pictures that appear to be from the wedding were posted by her friends. And get this — Bridgit’s Lemonade Mouth costar Naomi Scott was one of her bridesmaids! OK, the fact that the Disney Channel movie came out more than eight years ago and the two stars are still just as close is so amazing. Seriously, how sweet is that?!
There are unfortunately no pictures of Bridgit’s dress or Griffin’s outfit just yet, but hopefully they’ll share something soon! As fans know, although it’s unclear when they officially started dating, Griffin first appeared on the 26-year-old’s Instagram back in 2017. And in April 2019, they announced that they were engaged!
“We thought we should share the news. Griff, you are a deep thinker, a steadfast companion, a cheerleader and a challenger, and the biggest goof I know. Looking forward to holding your hand forever,” the “Ready Or Not” singer wrote on Instagram at the time.
“I proposed to this lovely woman and she said YES,” Griffin shared in a post of his own. “I’m very happy I get to be spending life with such a kind, intelligent and adventurous person. Bridgit is a much more supportive, considerate and beautiful partner than I ever expected, or frankly deserved. Our time together has brought many changes — new jobs, long distance, moving across the country, long distance again. But we’ve grown together and deeper perhaps not just in spite of it but because of it. So I’m excited to think of all the plans and ideas we have for the future and where it’ll take is. Love you Bridge!”
